About Us
AWS is a employment training and resource center for those that need a opportunity to development employable skill, behaviors and phycological tools to succeed in the the workplace. This 501 (c) 3 non profit corporation provides training computer literacy, culinary art, construction and digital marketing free of charge to anyone in the Anchorage community. Our network of state, municipal and private industry partners allow for support and placement individuals that have completed the training and have gained the skills to move forward toward successful employment opportunities.
Steps to Success
Orientation
We begin with an Initial Assessment/ Individualized Service Plan from a nationally accreditied treatment service agency using evidence-based curriculum.
Success Coaching
The good news is that sustainability can be reached through effective success training. At AWS we develop custom success training to cover the emotional, practical, and theoretical aspects of achieving.
Training & Employment
We understand the employers need a qualified employee that has not just the drive but the skills to succeed. This is important for getting our clients placed in a job.
